Hola! Just so everyone knows, our forum has upgraded! The old version is now inactive and isn't very useful right now. BUT, the new one is up and running (it may be a little slow for now). Check it out!

Hola! Well we have a little more than a week until school starts, so something important to remember is the Winter GBM. This is going to be held on Wednesday, January 9th at 8pm. It will take place somewhere in Center Hall, so keep checking the forum for the room. I'll also post it here on the site as well.
There's also going to be an event taking place at UCSD on the 5th of January starting at 9:30am and will continue till 1:30pm. It's called the Beijing Olympic Committee Chinese Dancers. Here's a short description:
There will be 100 Chinese high school and college dancers coming to UCSD on January 5th. Below is the information on their trip here. They are supposed to be spectacular. We have an amazing day planned for them. At the lunch they are having we wish to have a variety of dances performed so that they can get a taste of the multicultural dances that are performed here in America. If your student organization is interested in performing this day we would love to have you!
We have already sent an e-mail saying that we are avaliable to perform, so if you are willing and able to perform, contact us so we know how many people want to do it. This will also be on the forum, so check there.

YOOOOO. Sunday, December 9th will be the last official practice for Fall quarter. Also remember to bring your wushu clothing money if you ordered one! Check the Shirt order thread in the forum in the News and Announcements section for more information. You have until Monday, December 10th midnight to place an order, so do it NOW!
If you wanted to order a patch, then you'll have to contact Danny for that (forum name: furiousD).
On a side note, any one of you can call an impromptu practice. All you have to do is contact an officer so they can set it up, even through finals week. Or even better! use the calendar on the forum to add an event and an officer can approve it.

Updated the contacts section, so feel free to use any of the methods to contact us if you have any questions, comments, concerns, bored, etc. I also changed the site a little bit, like the menu, so if anything shows up weird, please E-mail me.
There will also be a Wushu performance (APSA High School Conference) this Sunday (12/1) at 12:10 pm, so come check it out!. Check the events page for more information.

Updated the About section and started on the Members section. Also, two people expressed interest in being Web Master for the Wushu Club! yay. I think I'll finish creating all the pages before handing off the website though so then all they will have to do is update "events" and "pictures" and this little section right here.

Apparently UCSD web servers don't support PHP. This is a bit annoying since it makes minor changes much more menial than they should be. It also means that I can't install Wordpress and I have to keep typing out the dates by hand, which are other minor annoyances. I'm also annoyed because the header image sometimes lines up with the background and other times it looks like it's a pixel or two off, and I don't know how to fix it.
Does anyone know how to either a) install PHP (because I'm too lazy to look it up and learn how to do it) and/or b) fix the lining up issues with the header image? Please tell me (via the forum or by e-mail)! Or better yet, fill the position of Web Editor for the Wushu Club!

Website is up!.. sort of. I'm not sure how it looks on other browsers and computers other than mine, and my code is messy (at best) so it's very possible that this thing looks like a disjumbled array on someone else's computer.
I might install Wordpress (which is a very easy to use blogging tool) on here, but it depends on how updated we want to keep this site. It would be useful in that it would type the date for us, allow for people to leave comments, and automatically archive old updates.
